Yeah, it would be really exciting if they could challenge for podiums on a regular basis! The suspension they have been working on(for quite a while I think) was something that they mentioned earlier in the season would give a "bigger" step forward. I really hope they can leapfrog the Mercedes GP cars in qualifying, so we can se their true race pace! I'm not hoping for rain, but the R30 seems to be good in rain aswell...mx_tifosi wrote:This car is getting better and better! Hopefully it can move even further up asap.
So for Canada it will have new aero (duh) and suspension.
Are we going to see the RF1 F-Duck?@rf1paddockpass http://twitpic.com/1vkndz This is real F-duck weather
No, maybe we will see Renault passive system in Valencia or Silverstone.plailleur wrote: Are we going to see the RF1 F-Duck?
That's what I thought based on the recent interview of RF1 Team manager Eric Bouilier. I don't know if the tweet I mentionned is purely humor from the person responsible for sharing news over Twitter at RF1, but there is a possibility that they would try at least a draft version of it during FP1 here.Carlo's wrote:No, maybe we will see Renault passive system in Valencia or Silverstone.plailleur wrote: Are we going to see the RF1 F-Duck?
Yes, two wings side by side.raceman wrote:[img]http://i69.servimg.com/u/f69/14/79/55/2 ... 17.jpg[img]
These are actually two endplates of two different wings put side by side, aren't they?
It's evidently kind of rain humour, 'duck weather' .plailleur wrote:I posted an interesting quote from the official rf1paddockpass twitter account earlier today but I can't see it anymore.
