If they aren't tanks, maybe they're oil-water heat exchangers. If they can cool the engine or driveline oil with a separate water loop, they would avoid packaging additional small oil radiators above the gearbox or in the sidepods.

If they can eliminate an oil-air HX high at the rear of the car, it might aid internal aero packaging & CoG.

It seems to me that Ferrari did not run te new wing mirrors at least in the photos I am seeing? Can anyone confirm?

those mirrors are not new they where on the car since the launch(look page at 3) , propably the old mirrors offerd better view with the shield
