Just finished testing in China, am now going on to Bahrain. The SIM is pretty special, hard to make it realistic but work in progress

Sounds like Ferrari, Mercedes is working to improve their SIM to the level of McLaren.
SIM level? :?: What is this?

If so, it's a well known fact McLaren have the most advanced simulator amongst the grid. Of course much of that is due to them basically starting it(car simulator) first. Pedro De la Rosa said after using Ferrari's simulator that is wasn't at the same level as McLaren's, meaning not as good. I believe Mercedes is most likely in the same situation.

Red Bull's sim has been shown in a plethora of publicity videos. I'm almost positive I've seen Webber, Vettel, Coulthard, Brundle and Jake Humphries all drive in it. It is not an enclosed pod, but rather a pseudo monococque with 3 concave screens projecting the front of the car, wheels and track. If I recall correctly it raises up a bit away from the ground when it starts, so that it can pitch and roll.

Tnx, I was confused with the phrase "SIM level". Especialy as it was mentioned with china and bahrain in the same sentence. Their simulator is in brackley, england?

Mercedes have 3 simulators and one of them is almost at the same level as McLaren's.

Edit:

Found the quote:
Lewis Hamilton: “We have three simulators here,” he said. “The newest one has all the technology that McLaren’s has but we just need to dial it in a little bit more. We’ve got lots of work to do on it, but it’s great to drive and to get a first impression of how the car is feeling. I got to drive the 2013 car yesterday so that was good.”

That's their public sim. They have another sim which isn't open to the public.

Lauda doesn't seem like he's much into Lewis Hamilton after that Mercedes pole. He didn't seem all that pleased on the pit wall.
For Sure!!

He might think that Nico getting one up on Lewis after Malaysia would be good for Mercedes image. Stop people thinking Lewis is number one in that team.

But on a serious not, i guess we'll see his true feelings as the season progresses.
The German grand prix will be interesting too for Mercedes. Who do have as the poster boy?

Hamilton. It's all about publicity, marketing and exposure to the public. Hamilton is well known outside the F1 world whereas Rosberg is not or at least not so much.
