If it was designed around said loophole there is no point in running it unfortunately
The point would be to make sure the correlation and the general heading are good. They can always make changes afterwards. The important thing is to confirm that their idea is working and that the numbers they see in the wind tunnel correlate with the real-life numbers seen on the track.
