Pizzonia hopes for 2006 race seat

Antonio Pizzonia says he might switch to another championship if Williams overlook him as a Grand Prix racer next year. The Brazilian is filling in for the man who beat him to the 2005 seat, Nick Heidfeld. Mark Webber says that Nico Rosberg has a bigger shot to conquer the 2006 race seat at his side.

Pizzonia isn't really certain what to think of his chances.
Antonio Pizzonia "I really don't know. Last year Frank (Williams) told me I had a 95 per cent chance of getting the seat and in the end I didn't get it. It is really difficult to predict what is going to happen."

Pizzonia also revealed that his manager is looking at other teams, but also at 'different championships'. He has been linked not only with the US Champ Car series, but the fledgling 'World Cup'A1 category.

According to Mark Webber's personal opinion Nico Rosberg is first in line to be his new team mate in 2006.
Mark Webber "I think he is most likely."

Last year at the end of Buttongate I, Mark Webber pushed for 2005 regular team mate Nick Heidfeld over alternative Pizzonia. Now it's young Nico Rosberg who has found favour.
"Antonio has been here for four years. Nico's been here for four months. But he's beyond his years really."

Of course Mark Webber wanted to be teamed up with Jenson Button, who has payed millions to stay at BAR Honda.
"There have been many knocks and this is just another one."
