Dino Toso passes away
This morning, Dino Toso, the former Renault F1 director of aerodynamics, passed away aged just 39. The Italian died after a long illness. In 2004, Toso was diagnosed with cancer, but he continued his work at Renault throughout his treatment. In June this year, he left his position at Renault and this morning he passed away at home.
A Renault statement said: "His contribution to the team, both through his results and his courage in the face of illness, are an inspiration. He will be missed enormously and the immediate thoughts of the whole team are with his family."
