Small progress for Red Bull at rainy Monza
Remember the Spanish GP and the first outing of our Energy Station in 2008? We put weighing scales for you to use near the show cooking area, as a reminder that you shouldn't eat too much. For the final appearance of the Energy Station this year, we've brought the weighing machine back, so you cansee if you've been good or bad…
If you get on the scales and the message says 'one at a time please', then maybe it's time for that diet. Similarly, if every time you get a text message, people around you think you're reversing, it could be time to cut back on the carbs. Come and find out: the scales will be in the Energy Station until Saturday evening.
Mark Webber, 1st Practice P-, 2nd Practice P8
"The track dried out to an extent in the afternoon, which allowed everyone to do some dry race preparation. We know there's a bit of unsettled weather around this weekend. The track dries out differently in certain areas, so once we learned about that we were able to work more on our set-up towards the end of the afternoon session. We got something out of today, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow."
David Coulthard, 1st Practice P12 2nd Practice P11
"Bad weather, like we had this morning, condenses the practice sessions and running in changeable conditions is not ideal for analysing tyres, but it's the same for everyone so we just get on with it."
