Heidfeld loses 3 places on the grid, Barrichello fined €10.000
BMW Sauber F1 Team driver Nick Heidfeld will lose three places on the Singapore grid after the received a penalty from the race stewards. Heidfeld impeded Rubens Barrichello during Q1 at the Marina Bay Circuit. The German will now start the first ever night race from 9th place.
Not only Nick Heidfeld was penalised after the Barrichello-incident, but strangely enough, the Honda driver as well. Barrichello was fined €10.000 for not using the deceleration zone when entering the pits after being impeded by Heidfeld.
