Button looking for Japanes success
BAR Honda's Jenson Button is confident of putting in a strong performance in the upcoming Japanes Grand Prix at the circuit of Suzuka. The circuit is BAR Honda's home track and the team will be well supported by their Japanese fans.
Jenson Button "Suzuka is special because it's Honda's home circuit. I've had good support there in the past, especially since I've been involved with Honda and the BAR Honda team. I'm excited about going back, and I think if we sort out the issues we had in Brazil, we'll be reasonably quick."
Jenson Button has collected points in every of the last 8 races but is aware that it will be a difficult weekend.
"Suzuka is a very tough circuit, mentally and physically. You have to be very precise around there, and also very consistent, which is difficult. It is definitely one of my favourite circuits."
BAR will introduce a new V10 engine, which Takuma Sato used during the Brazilian Grand Prix and after testing at Jerez.
