No Canadian GP in 2004!
After several reports that Spa will return as a GP event on the 2004 calendar, rumours started which current Grand Prix had to removed. Since three new GP's will come in, and the teams do not agree (yet) on a calendar with 18 Grand Prix', one more current host had to be revised.Canada was the target of the speculation because of new anti tobacco laws coming into play at the end of the year.Bernie Ecclestone sent the canadian Grand Prix organiser Normand Legault a letter : it is now official, Canada Grand Prix is struck from the 2004 calendar.
