Alonso a lot calmer than Schumi - Flavio

Renault boss Flavio Briatore believes that Fernando Alonso is cooler under pressure than Michael Schumacher. The Italian, who was at the Benetton Team when Schumi won his two titles, also says that Ferrari needs some 'youth' and 'energy' in their team if they are to improve next season.

In the begining of the season, the Renault boss played a couple psychologiscal games with Ferrari's number one and says that it was all done to help his team.

Briatore said that he believes that new F1 champion, Alonso, has a better temperament for racing than the seven time World Champion. ''Forget what you see in public. I know them both very well and I promise you Fernando has more ice in his blood than Michael, who is boiling with feeling.''

According to Briatore it's not Schumi's supposed lack of motivation that is Ferrari's problem, but rather the fact that the whole company is lacking a spark.
