There is a possibility that I'll be in F1 next year - di Grassi
Renault F1 test driver Lucas di Grassi believes that there is a good chance he will land a race seat next season. The young Brazilian has been tipped to replace Nelson Piquet Jr. at the French team if they would decide to make a driver swap.
di Grassi said to newsagceny 'Reuters': "What I want is to try to take a step up in my career and become an official F1 driver. There is a good possibility that I will be in F1 next year.
"My first option is Renault because they have been investing in my career. But I would be happy with any other team."
Renault has not yet made an announcement on its 2009 driver line-up. The announcement is expected somewhere after the Brazilian Grand Prix as Fernando Alonso will than make his decision for next season.
