Ferrari to review participation in F1 over standard engines

An announcement of the board announced that the Scuderia Ferrari will review its participation in Formula One if plans to introduce a standard engine for all teams from 2010 goes ahead. The news comes on the same day that Toyota denied planning to pull out of F1 over the standard engines.
A statement of Toyota said: "Toyota are committed to succeeding in Formula One for the long-term and our objective in Formula One is to win, we exist to win and we are committed to doing that.
"However, we believe Formula One must remain a technological challenge; this is an important point for Toyota and provided this does not change we expect to continue in F1 until at least 2012."
