De La Rosa behind the Force India wheel
McLaren test driver Pedro De La Rosa is today testing the Force India VJM01. As this car is currently still running a Ferrari engine, the Woking based team will be happy to gather some data of the Ferrari engine, analysing where their own Mercedes power plant might be improved.
Force India is currently running its only post-season test with only one more day to go before the supply of Ferrari engines dries up. After that, the team will have to await the new chassis, including the McLaren-Mercedes supplied drivetrain.
