Hamilton beaten to BBC Award by Chris Hoy
Despite winning several awards already after his championship success, Lewis Hamilton was beaten to the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award by triple Beijing Olympics gold medal winner Chris Hoy. The BBC viewers can vote for the prestigious trophy and for the second year in a row, Hamilton finished second.
