Gascoyne demands money from Force India in court case
Mike Gascoyne, the former Force India F1 Team's Chief Technical Officer, is suing the team for damages and this for a sum of £2.5 million. Gascoyne was dismissed at the end of 2008, 12 months before his original three-year deal came to an end.
Gascoyne now lodged legal paperwork in London's High Court for damages caused by his dismissal and demands around £2.5 million. The former Chief Technical Officer was fired after Team Principal Vijay Mallya conducted a management reshuffle following the team's switch from Ferrari to Mercedes engines.
