Post-race dehydration problems for Alonso
F1 Grand Prix, GP Bahrain, Bahrain International Circuit
After a courageous drive to finish eighth, Fernando Alonso collapsed in the media room. The cause being dehydration, due to not having any fluids available for most of the race when his drink pump failed. A Renault statement said, "He subsequently suffered from dehydration as he got out of the car. He has now fully recovered."
