The proposed Grand Prix in the Italian city of Rome is one step closer to becoming a reality, as Mayor Gianni Alemanno has confirmed that the process is moving along. The event is planned to be in the EUR quarter of Rome, at an approximate length of 4.6 kilometres throughout the wide avenues.

"We will establish a promotional committee. And then we will officially present our candidacy," 'AFP' quoted Alemanno as saying.
