Montreal to present five-year deal to Ecclestone

The Canadian press reports that Montreal is planning a new proposal to bring Formula One back to the city. The new government-backed five-year deal will be presented to Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone shortly.
The Canadian race was scratched from the 2010 calendar and as there is no longer a race at Indianapolis, North America is left without a Grand Prix. Several teams, including BMW Sauber, are supporting a move back to the region.
