Schumacher books space flight with Branson
Michael Schumacher is stunning the world again. The German has booked a space flight aboard 'SpaceShip Two', a spacecraft financed by Richard Branson that will allow anyone to travel through space as of 2012.
The Flemish newspaper 'Het Laatste Nieuws' reports that the German will pay €140,000 for his flight along with 5 other customers and steered by 2 pilots. Each flight is planned to take around 6 hours.
The programme is expected to commence in 2012, and on the list of flyers - given that they pass 3 day medical tests - are Niki Lauda, former British PM Tony Blair and scientist Stephen Hawking.
