New provisional F1 calendar
The FIA have announced the new 2004 calendar, the World Motor Sport Council agreeing to the set dates and venues by fax vote and there are changes galore!The season opener is still set for Albert Park in Melbourne Australia, however the season finale will not be set in Suzuka, instead it has been move to the Interlagos circuit in Brazil! Brazil’s normal third spot has been taken by the new Bahrain circuit, while the Nurburgring is now the fourth round.
As expected, there is no Canadian Grand Prix listed with Bahrain and China still listed as provisional. The French GP is also provisional in regard to their current contract while Spa has been officially reinstated, pending tobacco laws.
