Renault to make Kubica-announcement on Wednesday?
The French newspaper 'Le Figaro' reports that the Renault F1 Team will announce Robert Kubica as their 2010 driver on Wednesday. Kubica made his Formula One debut for Renault when he received a test with the team after winning the World Series by Renault.
Rumours about a switch from Kubica to Renault have been ongoing since BMW decided to pull out of the sport. Kubica will replace his friend Fernando Alonso, who was announced as Felipe Massa's team mate at Ferrari for next season.
It is believed that Romain Grosjean, who stepped in for Nelson Piquet Jr., will keep his race seat with the French outfit.
