Only time will tell if stopping F60 development was correct says Domenicali
With one of their worst seasons in the recent era, the Scuderia Ferrari stopped development of this years F60 chassis slightly towards the end of the season in order to concentrate on the 2010 contender. But according to team principal Stefano Domenicali only time will tell if taking such a decision was correct
Speaking to Spain's 'AS' sports paper, Domenicali said, "We have a car designed with a basis that could not be competitive next year. For that reason we made the decision to stop its evolution. As with everything, time will tell if we were right."
Ferrari lost out to McLaren in the fight for third place in the constructors championship, as the F60's of Kimi Raikkonen and Giancarlo Fisichella were losing pace as the season progressed.
