Mercedes GP wants to confirm full line-up before Christmas
Mercedes Grand Prix CEO Nick Fry declared that his team is planning to have its complete 2010 driver line-up confirmed before Christmas. Earlier this week, Nico Rosberg was announced as the first driver of the team, formerly known as Brawn GP, and Nick Heidfeld is tipped as the most likely candidate to join his compatriot.
Fry said: "We don't have huge time pressure at the moment but once one goes beyond Christmas and into the New Year it becomes slightly more difficult, with seat fits in time for the engineers to talk to the driver. I would hope to do it (announcing the entire 2010 line-up) before Christmas, purely for logistical reasons."
