Raikkonen switch to rally a real possibility says Citroen

Citroen's Olivier Quesnel has declared in an interview that a switch from Formula One to the World Rally Championship for Kimi Raikkonen is a real possibility. The Rally boss of the French manufacturer said that the reports about the Iceman's rally plans for 2010 are inspired by "more than only a rumour".
Quesnel said to the French Radio station 'Radio-France': "It is not signed and I have never even spoken with Raikkonen on the telephone. But it is more than a rumour; it is a real possibility."
He added that Raikkonen would not race in the official Citroen team, alongside six time World Champion Sebastian Loeb, but in the junior team with a full specification C4.
The Iceman agreed to terminate his contract with Ferrari one year earlier to make way for Fernando Alonso and as the line-up for McLaren is already finalised, another year in F1 seems very unlikely for the Finn.
