Ferrari sign Bianchi to multi year deal
The Scuderia Ferrari have recently signed Jules Bianchi to a multi year contract, although the 20 year old is now heading into the GP2 series after winning the 2009 F3 Championship. Bianchi's contract doesn't specify an F1 race seat, but continued work and relations with the Italian team.
A Ferrari spokesperson told our friends over at 'GPUpdate', "Giancarlo Fisichella will be our third driver in 2010, but Bianchi will be involved in the upcoming years with Ferrari's development."
Bianchi himself added in an interview with 'autosport', "But it's no guarantee that I will make it to Formula 1 with Ferrari, because it's only a contract, and if I don't do a good season next year then they may not want me."
