Grosjean to race in Andros Trophy Ice event
Romain Grosjean, who drove the final seven races of the 2009 season for the Renault F1 Team, has confirmed that he will be driving in two rouds of the Andros Trophy ice racing event in France. This weekend, Grosjean will come in action for the first time.
Grosjean said: "The Andros Trophy is a truly a beautiful event and I love driving on ice. For several years I have enjoyed the event at Flaine, which is near me, and there has been a growing desire to try my hand at the Andros Trophy.
"I'm convinced that the ice will encourage a lot of steering, especially with rainy weather when visibility is very low and the car is unstable! I will be driving the Clio III DAR 01, one of the best in the Andros Trophy. I think we will have a great experience together and I hope we can enjoy a nice result - I intend to give my maximum."
