McLaren reshuffles race engineering crews
The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 Team has undertaken a reshuffle of its race engineering crews. The Woking-based outfit announced the changes today and declared that the reason for the reshuffle is the coming of Jenson Button and new resources restrictions coming into force in 2010.
Overview of the changes:
* Phil Prew becomes the team’s principal race engineer
* New race engineering crews built around each driver
* Andy Latham becomes Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer
* Jakob Andreasen becomes Jenson Button’s race engineer
