Karthikeyan to test Williams

The WilliamsF1 Team confirmed that Narain Karthikeyan, the Indian driver who raced for the Jordan team last season, will join the team in Jerez, Spain, this week to assist with its winter testing programme.

Karthikeyan will join Williamsn on the first day of the three day Jerez test on Wednesday December 7. Karthikeyan will be behind the wheel of the Williams FW27C interim chassis and will work alongside Nico Rosberg.

Karthikeyan will test for the team pending the announcement of the team’s third driver. WilliamsF1 Team’s Technical Director, Sam Michael “Narain will be in Jerez to help us with normal testing duties. At this stage of development of the FW27C, we have a series of systems checks and initial set-up investigations to complete. He will be in the car on Wednesday 7 December.”
