Sutil tops wet FP1 at Hockenheim

During a wet first free practice session of the German Grand Prix at Hockenheimring, Force India F1 Team's Adrian Sutil was the fastest man on track. The home driver clocked a faster lap time than Ferrari's Felipe Massa and McLaren's Jenson Button.
Lewis Hamilton crashed heavily during the session as he over-corrected a slide at Turn 4. The Briton damaged his front wheels and the left rear. He is unhurt, but his crash after completing only 8 laps makes it again difficult for McLaren to analyse the performance in their new blown diffuser system.
