Alguersuari handed a 20 second penalty

Jaime Alguersuari has been given a 20 second penalty following the stewards review of lap 42 from the Belgian Grand Prix. The Spaniard is accused of cutting the final chicane and gaining a position from Vitantonio Liuzzi. This promotes Liuzzi into 10th, and into the points, while demoting Alguersuari back to 13th.
Meanwhile, the Toro Rosso driver has defended himself on his Twitter page, saying, "I have not overtaken Liuzzi at any chicane, I was in front of him."
"I have been penalized because on lap 42 I have gained distance cutting the last chicane in respect to Liuzzi who was behind me."
