Karthikeyan returns to F1 with HRT
Narain Karthikeyan has revealed on his Twitter page that he has signed a deal to return to Formula One with HRT next season. For the moment there is no official statement released by the Spanish-based outfit.
Karthikeyan wrote on his Twitter page: "Back in F1 in 2011. Signed a deal to race for HRT. I've always maintained that my time in F1 was not over and now making good on that promise."
On 7 december, HRT officially confirmed Kartikeyan, dubbing him 'The fastest Indian in the world': "After many months of negotiations and discussions with several Formula 1 teams, Narain Karthikeyan and his management have finally inked a contract with Hispania Racing as a race driver for the 2011 Formula 1 season."
