Alonso tops Monaco Thursday practice

Fernando Alonso proved the fastest man during today's practice sessions for the Monaco GP. Lewis Hamilton is a close second, ahead of Nico Rosberg. The first Red Bull is unusually found in 5th place, at the hands of Sebastian Vettel.
Tonio Liuzzi was the only man now to not set a time as the Hispania team are still busy repairing his car from his shunt in FP1.
Adrian Sutil is the surprise of this session as he ended 9th, largely ahead of his teammate Paul di Resta. The latter was even outpaced by both Lotus cars who are coming to grips with their aerodynamic updates they introduced in Spain one week ago.
