Bahrain GP unlikely to go ahead says Ecclestone
Despite the fact that the World Motor Sport Council gave the green light for the Bahrain Grand Prix last week, Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone now says that the event is unlikely to go ahead this year as every participant needs to agree on the new date.
Bernie Ecclestone said to BBC Sport: "Hopefully there'll be peace and quiet and we can return in the future, but of course it's not on. The schedule cannot be rescheduled without the agreement of the participants - they're the facts."
Several drivers and teams have already expressed their concerns about a race in Bahrain this year.
