Vettel tops final Indian practice

Sebastian Vettel has shown once again who is the World Champion, and why exactly. After being slightly off the pace during the first practice sessions, Red Bull returned to form. Jenson Button went second fastest, team mate Mark Webber third.

Vettel led the session until ten minutes from the end when everybody came out for another quick run on the softer tyres. Alonso was the first to improve, with Massa ending up just behind him.

5 minutes from the end Button put himself on top of the timesheet, posting a 1:25.191, ahead of Hamilton and Vettel.

Then in the final seconds the Red Bulls crossed the finish line again, with Vettel taking the lead again, despite having been slightly distracted by a Sauber along his way. His teammate Mark Webber went third fastest, in between both McLarens.

During the session, many drivers ended up in the dust, either by going wide over the kerbs or spinning off track. This of course doesn't improve the already very dusty track, especially off the racing line where it looks all very slippery.
