Petrov waiting on sponsors to seal new deal
As the 2012 season inches forward with the start of testing, ex-Renault driver Vitaly Petrov has yet to find his way back into an F1 car in either race or reserve role. Oksana Kosachenko, the Russians manager, has blamed the slow-to-react speed of his sponsors for the lack of progress, but assures us that there are more than a few options still open.
"Of course, he is not very comfortable because we expected them to move a little bit faster, without these decisions, we cannot move forward," Kosachenko shared with Ria Novosti news agency.
Adding, "If, within the next few days, we don’t succeed, we are going to talk to some other series and probably we are going to talk to Pirelli as well."
