Button and Barrichello turn up the heat in Bahrain

Both Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello joined the Honda Racing F1 Team in Bahrain on Tuesday morning for the second day of the Honda Racing F1 Team's current test at the Sahkir circuit. It was another warm and sunny day with an ambient temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and a track temperature of 32 degrees Celsius.

In chassis RA106-01, Jenson spent his early laps completing familiarisation and set-up runs before completing a tyre evaluation programme. Jenson completed 88 laps and set the second fastest time of the day - a 01:31.451.

Rubens also concentrated on finding a good balance in the new chassis RA106-03 during his early runs. He then ran through an aero evaluation followed by a tyre programme. Rubens completed 105 laps today setting the third fastest time - a 01:31.483.
Jenson and Rubens will continue their driving responsibilities in Bahrain tomorrow.
