New head of race at Jordan

James Robinson has joined Jordan as head of race and test engineering. Robinson will work alongside John McQuilliam (Chief Designer), Nicolo Petrucci (Head of Aerodynamics), Mike Wroe (Head of Electronics) and David Williams (Head of Operations) in the team's Technical Management Group.

Jordan's winter test programme commences on Wednesday 3 December in Jerez with Nick Heidfeld and Jarek Janis driving, and the all new EJ14 is due to be launched in the first week of February 2004.

Prior to joining Jordan, Robinson held senior engineering management roles at BAR, Williams and McLaren.
