Day 3 for Red Bull

That's better! Although the weather once again tried to cause problems after overnight frost left damp conditions this morning, the track dried up much earlier than yesterday, meaning David and Christian were able to start racking up the laps from around 10.30hrs onwards.

Christian's programme centred on aero work and tyre testing, while David concentrated on evaluating some aero items, along with some set-up and suspension work. "Christian managed to complete some longer runs, which is what we wanted, as he was using the race spec engine-gearbox package," said Chief Test Engineer Ian Morgan. "Despite a few minor problems, he got through most of his programme, as did David. Tomorrow is our final day here and the plan with both drivers is to simulate a race weekend, with qualifying laps and race length runs."
