Räikkönen set to become father
The Finnish world champion of 2007, Kimi Räikkönen is set to become a father next year. His girldfiend Minttu Virtanen has confirmed through social media.
Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat quoted Raikkönen’s spokesman Riku Kuvaja as saying: "Minttu and Kimi hope, above all, for peace from the media in this joyous time."
The Finnish driver is currently enjoying a rest on the island of Corsica with his new girlfriend Minttu. She added a photo to her Instagram account with the hastag ‘babyonboard.’
The baby is due to be born at the early part of 2015.
The Finn's current relationship follows a long term marriage with former model and Miss Scandinavia 2001, Jenni Dahlman, from whom he divorced in February 2013.
