BAR strenghtens partnership with STL
Lucky Strike B•A•R Honda has today signed a two-year deal with UK communications firm, STL, as an official Team Supplier. The company will play an integral role in both the internal and external communications systems for the team, providing a range of services including state-of-the-art data transfer from trackside at races and tests back to the team’s Operations Centre.
STL will manage the full telecommunications system at the Brackley base and also implement their Least Cost Routing system, ensuring B•A•R continues to be one of the most efficient teams on the grid.
B•A•R Head of I.T., David France, commented: "Fast and cost effective telecommunication is a key component of a successful Formula One team. STL have been working closely with B•A•R since the formation of the team and we are delighted to be consolidating our strong relationship. We are looking forward to working with STL who will be helping B•A•R to achieve the very best from available and emerging technologies."
