FP3: Leclerc and Ferrari increase advantage
Charles Leclerc and Ferrari have increased their advantage after an already dominant display on Friday. This time around, both Ferraris were more than a second clear of Max Verstappen who was third fastest.
In a remarkably incident free session it was particularly Mercedes who were underwhelming. As both Bottas and Hamilton were around 1.5s slower than the Ferraris, their deficit to the scarlet leaders increased from just 0.7s on Friday.
In fact, both Mercedes were only just fast enough to stay ahead of a close midfield pack, led by Daniil Kvyat in 6th. Magnussen, Albon, Perez and Raikkonen completed the top 10.
This meant no Renault-powered cars in the top 10 as neither McLaren nor the Renault F1 Team managed to get any car up there.
At the very back there's Williams again, though it was Pierre Gasly who ended up slowest of all. The French Red Bull driver was focused on race preparation as he is set not to take part in qualifying, resulting from a penalty that will see him start Sunday's race from the pitlane due to missing the weight bridge during one of Friday's practice sessions.
