The Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow team has announced the continuation of its relationship with Brembo, its brake supplier and with the Japanese Radiobook brand.

The Bergamo-based Italian company manufactures high performance brake systems, clutches and other components for the racing industry. The partnership of Ferrari with Brembo dates back to 1975 when it made its first appearance in Formula 1, supplying the Maranello team with a few cast iron discs.

Since 1975, the relationship has continued, the mutual collaboration leading to the development of carbon discs, hydraulic components for the braking system and numerous innovative elements over the years.

The announcement sees Brembo serve as a Technical Partner for the Scuderia with the partnership focusing on research and development in the design of braking systems specifically for the Maranello team.

Ferrari also confirmed Radiobook as its latest partner. The Japanese brand first appeared on the cars last year when the livery featured the „R” logo at the Austrian, Italian and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.

The two companies have now signed a multi-year partnership agreement, strengthening their collaboration. The agreement will see the brand’s logo feature on Charles Leclerc’s and Carlos Sainz’s cars at selected Grands Prix and will also appear on the pit-stop teams overalls for the entire Formula 1 season.

„The Japanese company’s “R” logo reflects several of its key messages – recycle, reuse, repair – which led to the partnership, as sustainability is a key part of the philosophy of both companies,” read Ferrari’s statement.
