Renault joins talks with FIA
According to reports, Renault (member of the GPMA), met with the FIA on Friday. Renault was joined by Ferrari and Cosworth to discuss the future regulations with the FIA. Renault is still a member of the GPMA, if the other teams will follow and discuss their future in F1 with the FIA is still not clear. Teams must sign up for the 2008 championship by 31 March if they are to have a say in future technical regulations.
An FIA spokesman confirmed that: "Max Mosley, Charlie Whiting and Peter Wright attended a meeting with representatives of Ferrari, Renault and Cosworth at Maranello to formulate engine homologation proposals."
