Three drivers will use a fresh gearbox at the Red Bull Ring. AlphaTauri racer Pierre Gasly and Mazepin used their prebious gearbox for six consecutive events which granted them a new unit for the Styrian Grand Prix. AlphaTauri’s Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda had to replace his previous geabox for a spare one at Paul Ricard, therefore he is allowed to use a new one at the Red Bull Ring.
