Aston Martin to race with a one-off Valvoline livery in Silverstone
Aston Martin will sport a special, one-off livery at this weekend’s Aramco British Grand Prix at Silverstone as the British team is set to partner with a new Official Lubricant Partner, Valvoline Global.
Valvoline Global is a worldwide leader in automotive and industrial solutions, creating future-ready products and best-in-class services for partners around the globe. Established in 1866, the company introduced the world’s first branded motor oil and developed strong brand recognition and customer satisfaction ratings across multiple product channels.
Aston Martin and Valvoline Global will establish a new partnership that will commence at this weekend's British Grand Prix. The agreement will see Valvoline develop products that will enhance Aston Martin's on-track performance while the partnership is expected to improve Valvoline brand’s global reach. With the involvement in F1, the company intends to develop future products with which it can drive the automotive world forward toward a more sustainable future.
The start of their cooperation will be marked by a one-off livery for this weekend's British Grand Prix and will then continue with prominent on-car branding for the rest of the 2023 season.
Valvoline Global CEO Jamal Muashsher commented: “The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1Team and Valvoline Global are both driven by more – driven by the desire not just to win but to go even further. This is the start of a powerful, dynamic partnership. We are excited to be part of the team’s journey, and we look forward to our shared successes and innovation.”
Aston Martin Team Principal Mike Krack added: “Everyone at the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team is delighted to welcome Valvoline Global as our Official Lubricant Partner. From this weekend’s British Grand Prix, Valvoline Global will provide race-proven lubricants for our AMR23 to help drive performance.
