Outgoing Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz has confirmed that all the teams that have not sorted out their driver line-up for the 2025 F1 season have contacted him in recent weeks.

After Ferrari elected to extend Charles Leclerc's contract for the coming years and decided to sign seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton for 2025, Carlos Sainz was left without a racing seat for the coming season.

With the Spaniard having delivered a brilliant performance so far this year which included a dominant win in Melbourne, it is no surprise that several teams are interested in his services. Despite the interest, Sainz has not made a decision about his future, albeit several outfits have started to sort out their driver line-up for the coming season.

Ahead of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix Sainz was a guest of the Spanish TV show El Hormiguero where he opened up on his future.

The three-time F1 race winner conceded that he is yet to make up his mind regarding his future team, but he also stressed that he is intent on sorting out his future as soon as possible as he wants to focus on maximizing his car's potential.

“I have options on the table ready to make a decision. I’m going to make the decision very soon because I want to get it out of the way and focus on the rest of the year with Ferrari.

"There will be time to think about next year. This year I have a car that still allows me to make podiums and win races. I want to focus on that.”

Asked about his possibilities for the future, Sainz added: “There is not one option, there are several options.

“All the teams that don’t have their drivers signed for next year have offered me a contract. If I want to I could sign with anyone tomorrow, but I’m going to take it a bit slow. I will decide soon and any of those teams is an option for me," the Spaniard concluded.
