Alpine reveal Deadpool & Wolverine livery for Belgian Grand Prix

To celebrate the release of the Deadpool & Wolverine film, Formula One's Enstone-headquartered team Alpine will be sporting a special livery on its F1 cars at the Belgian Grand Prix.

Just days ahead of this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, Alpine have revealed a striking one-off livery, inspired by the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film.

Instead of their usual design, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon will be driving cars adorned in red and black, complete with yellow claw marks, in a nod to the two Marvel superheroes depicted in the new movie.

This one-off livery has been inspired by Deadpool, the Marvel superhero played by Ryan Reynolds, who heavily invested in the Anglo-French team earlier this year with a consortium of other stars.

The actor who plays Deadpool and who therefore owns a part of Alpine, takes advantage of this to create a nice synergy and promote his film on a Formula 1 car.

Deadpool & Wolverine is a 2024 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Deadpool and Wolverine, directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay he wrote with Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. Reynolds and Hugh Jackman star as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively, alongside Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen.
