Domenicali proud of the show that "has never been done before"

Formula One's President Stefano Domenicali insisted that he was left proud by last week's live presentation show after the sport performed something that "has never been done before".
Formula One's inaugural show, the F1 75 event marked Formula 1’s 75th anniversary with one night at The O2, where the ten teams were able to showcase the new livery of their cars for the upcoming 2025 F1 season.
The show was a sold-out event, with more than 15,000 fans attending the O2 arena. Fans were able to follow the show on F1's YouTube channel, with a peak of 1.1 million concurrent viewers having watched the event live. The show reached a total of 4.6 million total viewers on YouTube across the live broadcast.
Alongside the new liveries, fans were treated to exclusive interviews. The event was hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall hosted the event while multi-platinum recording artist Machine Gun Kelly delivered a show-stopping performance. The night also included performances by country music star Kane Brown and British band Take That.
As for the technical setup, the show included the largest LED screen ever used at The O2, while hidden beneath it was a garage-style door, which opened to introduce each team’s drivers for the 2025 season. The cars were suspended up to eight metres in the air, and above that a flying LED screen, embedded with dynamic lighting effects.
Reflecting on the event, F1's President and CEO Stefano Domenicali noted: “Tonight was an amazing event and a huge success. As a sport we did something together that has never been done in the history of F1 before. We are always celebrating and respecting our incredible history while looking to the future to engage new fans around the globe.
“We had a packed O2 arena, passionate fans sharing their love and excitement for the sport here in person and watching around the world. We saw all the drivers and team principals on stage alongside great music and entertainment.
"We are now excited for the season ahead and what is set to be a great battle in the track for the ultimate prize in motorsport. Thanks to all our fans and the teams.”
