The award-winning Formula 1 Exhibition will land in Amsterdam on 17 April 2025, with the Dutch capital announced as the next major city to host the show.

Amsterdam will become the sixth city to host F1 Exhibition when it opens its doors to the public on 17 April 2025 following its runs in Madrid, Vienna and Toronto, London and Buenos Aires.

The exhibition will take place at Amsterdam’s De Kromhouthal. Since the sport’s inaugural season in 1950, 17 drivers have represented the Dutch flag, including four-time World Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen.

Similar to the previous six locations, visitors begin their journey in Once Upon A Time In Formula 1, which features a mix of previously- unseen photography, historic F1 cars, film, and artefacts that transports fans through some of the sport’s most iconic and defining moments.

Design Lab takes visitors into the heart of a Formula 1 factory for a rare glimpse into how F1 teams design and manufacture each season’s new car. Next, visitors will experience Drivers & Duels celebrating the most iconic drivers and legendary races since Formula 1 began in 1950 –75 years ago this year.

The following gallery, Survival, covers Romain Grosjean’s horrific 150 mph crash in Bahrain 2020 and his extraordinary escape from the ensuing inferno. The show then reaches its high-octane finale in The Pit Wall - a show-stopping cinematic and immersive experience that allows fans to relive the greatest moments in Formula 1 history.

Commenting on the sixth location of the F1 Exhibition, F1's Commercial Officer Emily Prazer added: “We are delighted to bring F1 Exhibition to the Netherlands, a country that has been at the centre of Formula 1 in recent years and has a long a proud history in our sport.

"I cannot wait for visitors and fans from around the world to delve deeper into F1 and learn more about the Netherland’s fantastic contribution to our sport.”

Jonathan Linden, who works as Co-CEO of Round Room Live and Producer of The Formula 1 Exhibition, commented: “We are delighted to announce Amsterdam as the host city for the next stop of The Formula 1 Exhibition’s European tour.

"Alongside the core experience, each show gives some special recognition to the national heritage of its host location. In Amsterdam we’re excited to be able to celebrate The Netherlands’ rich Formula 1 heritage, including the storied Zandvoort racetrack and an impressive legacy of F1 drivers, including of course, Max Verstappen.”

Reflecting on the announcement, Ewoud van de Kamp, who works as Senior Project Lead Exhibitions of Friendly Fire, said: “We are proud to bring the F1 Exhibition to the Netherlands. This event combines the thrill of Formula 1 with an immersive and innovative exhibition format. We look forward to welcoming fans from both the Netherlands and abroad.”
